The Golden Locks??
Do you know the story of Smurfette and her bright, golden hair? Well, once upon a time, there was a village of delightful little fairy folk known as the Smurfs. A nasty wizard by the name of Gargamel wanted to capture them for all sorts of nefarious reasons... not the least of which because they were pretty much made of magic! Fortunately, the Smurfs were really smart (and quick, to boot).??
Gargamel decided to create a female Smurf in order to distract and trick the Smurfs. She had black hair and a wicked heart and the plan nearly worked! It was only after she got to know the Smurfs and see how delightful they were that her clay heart began to warm. When Papa Smurf helped break the evil spell, Smurfette's heart lightened... and so did her hair! That's how Smurfette became the first female Smurf and the only blonde in all the village!??
